Progress with integration of Muslims
According to the Federal Minister of the Interior, Wolfgang Schaeuble (CDU), the integration of Muslim organisations in the social and politcal life in Germany is making a great progress. Schaeuble said on SWR-radio, that Islam "has become part of our country". Schaeuble also welcomed that the dialogue with Mslims has become more open. "We are stepping up to each other", said the minister of the interior. Since the Islam-conference in September last year it has not only become apparent that the associations accept "pluralism in their own rows". They try to "offer religious education at public schools with representatives of the Islam".
