OIC Reiterates Syria's Right to Restore Occupied Golan

Dakar, Senegal, (SANA)-Media Permanent Committee of the Organization of Islamic Conference on Wednesday reiterated solidarity and support to the people of occupied Syrian Golan in their struggle against the Israeli illegitimate practices.
Wrapping up its 8th session in the presence of Syrian Minister of Information Muhsen Bilal, the Committee called for backing Syrian citizens' steadfastness in Golan in the face of Israeli practices aiming at canceling the Arab identity.
The Committee condemned Israeli practices against educational institutions in the occupied Syrian Golan and Israeli procedures which canceled the Syrian educational curriculums in villages of Golan and substituted them with an Israeli curriculum and imposing the Hebrew language at the expense of the Arabic language.
It adopted international resolution 497 of the year 1981 which canceled the Israeli Knesset decision to annex the occupied Syrian Golan and considered it as null and void.
