BAGHDAD, Oct 15 (KUNA) -- Iranian minister of Intelligence and Security Qolam Hosein Mohseni-Ejei visited Baghdad and held security cooperation talks with top Iraqi officials, a government statement said Sunday.
The brief statement said Mohseni-Ejei met with National Security Advisor Mowaffaq Al-Rubaei and discussed the implementation of the recently-signed security and intelligence coordination agreement.
Both sides, said the statement, agreed to form a team to place appropriate mechanisms to implement the agreement.
Iraqi prime minister Nouri Al-Maliki had, during a recent visit to Tehran, signed a number of bilateral agreements with Iran including security cooperation and controlling borders.
