Next season's bag...is worn over your head according to Giles Deacon
Here's a clever plan - hire some of the world's most beautiful models for your show, then tie a bag over their heads.
This was Giles Deacon's novel idea - and however clever he might be with a pair of scissors, those bags, made of transparent silk gazar, were never going to do the models any justice.
Presumably, this was the point as we would pay more attention to his clothes. The only irony was that model of the moment Agyness Deyn, out of commission because of an eye infection, didn't take part in the show. The bags would have provided the perfect camouflage for her swollen eyelid.
Ms Deyn has been named the new face of Deacon's popular Gold line for high street chain New Look, due out in March.
