Iran, supporter of Muslim states: Hamas official
Iran is still supporting Muslims vis-a-vis anti-Muslim methodology of the world arrogance, senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk said on Tuesday.
Abu Marzouk, deputy chairman of Hamas political bureau, has made the remarks in an interview with Tehran-based Arabic language al-Wefaq newspaper.
He appreciated Tehran's support for the people of Palestine and their resistance movement against Israeli occupation forces.
He stressed that Israel was not interested in establishing relations with Arab and Muslim nations "but is to deceive them." Referring to the ongoing Israeli blockade of Gaza Strip, Abu Marzouk said Muslim states should help stop Israeli aggressions on Gaza Strip and deal with the blockade which has caused humanitarian crisis.
