Forces target Iraq-Iran weapons flow
BAGHDAD, June 18 Coalition forces in Iraq killed at least 20 militants near the Iranian border Monday.
The forces also captured and wounded militants during raids in the Mayson Province targeting the movement of arms and fighters between Iraq and Iran, CNN reported.
"During the close air support, at least 20 terrorists were killed and six suspected terrorists were assessed to be wounded by the strafing," the military said, CNN reported. "A vehicle being used by the terrorists as a fighting position was also destroyed by the close air support."

The raids occurred in the Shiite cities of Amarah and Majjar al-Kabir, which the military said intelligence reports indicate are safe havens for terrorists smuggling weapons and fighters from Iran to Iraq.
