My eyebrows have been raised concerning the NON-REACTION by Leftists @ Large when it came to the Lebanese army pounding the crap out of Fatah al Islam and a 'Palestinian' refugee camp...

We witnessed the caterwalling that went on when Israel decided to take it to (too gently I might add) Hiz b'allah (Iran) last summer...

Every Leftist @ Large, Islamic Handmaiden, etc. in the world came out and bloviated about the harshness of Israels attack...

Now, the Lebanese are pounding the crap out of Fatah al Islam and anyone that gets in the way and it is hardly in the news...

Is it racism?!?

Lebanese army pounds Islamists

Nahr Al-Bared - The Lebanese army backed by helicopters pounded Islamist militiamen besieged in a Palestinian refugee camp on Thursday after a night of violent clashes, AFP correspondents said.

The latest bombardments broke a brief two-hour lull in the fighting between troops surrounding the Nahr al-Bared camp and gunmen from the shadowy Al-Qaeda inspired Fatah al-Islam group holed up inside.

Military helicopters opened fire with heavy weapons on the camp, where the militants have been fighting the army since May 20 in the deadliest peacetime clashes in Lebanon in decades.

The unrest in Nahr al-Bared and another Palestinian refugee camp in the south of the country has claimed a total of 108 lives.
