DAR AL HARB - U.K.: "BUT IF THEY TURN RENEGADES, SEIZE THEM & SLAY THEM WHEREVER YE FIND THEM"

MUSLIMS TREAT THEIR 'RENEGADES' VERY HARSHLY

Many of your readers may remember on March 28 you featured a letter from a Muslim group in Bath called Respect, with a large picture of a woman in a black niqab.

This group was complaining at the time, because the Government had issued new school uniform guidelines which included the right of headteachers to prevent pupils from wearing the niqab.

I believe we live in a country that in recent years has been very tolerant of religious minorities, and in particular Islam.

Britain has shown respect for those of minority faiths, far more than many other countries and has paid a heavy price for this respect.

There needs to be respect for those who do not agree with Islam, and there needs to be respect for those who having explored the Muslim faith have decided it is not for them, to be able, with our fear of intimidation, leave that faith and explore another if they so wish.

Often in Muslim dominated countries minority faiths are not well tolerated.

In fact, in Turkey recently Necati Aydin and Ugur Yuksel minority faith leaders who had previously been Muslims were tortured and murdered. A third man, Tilmann Geske a German, was also tortured and executed in the same incident. All five assailants were under 20 years of age, and had carefully prepared their brutality, believing they were defending their country and faith.

Having read the accounts of the extent of the injuries it is hard to conceive what more suffering it is possible to inflict upon another human being with a knife.

In another case the father of a woman who converted from Islam to another faith has had to resist pressure from family members to kill his daughter. Now the family is seeking permission to kill her. On some occasions the death sentence has been carried out.

So where is the authorisation for the execution of renegades, apostates and turncoats?

The Quran has the answer in 4 v89.

"But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them."

"These cases are all well documented and are sadly not isolated incidents, they demonstrate that while demanding respect for themselves in this country over clothing, respect for basic human rights are denied when the tables are turned in Muslim countries.

The above facts regards the Turkish incident were in from a newsletter from an international charity working in Muslim countries, and are available on the internet.

I would appreciate my name and address NOT being printed on this occasion.
