If you didn't catch on, Walter Fazal Khan is an 84 yr old Christian...
It appears 100 people, both Christian & moslem, came out in support of Walter Fazal Khan. The moslem president of Samanabad's Commercial Union has admitted to being "duped" by the "instigators" that swore up & down that Walter Fazal Khan was a 'blasphemer'...
Also, the Charsadda Christians are appealing for prayers because of their dire circumstances:

I think without any proof it is lawfully wrong to hold an 84 year old man in jail. If Mr.Khan so wanted to burn the Koran, why would he wait all his life to burn the Koran at 84?. Or if he wanted to burn the Koran so bad, would he be found burning the Koran with towel wrapped around his waist stepping outside the shower?
Why is the police so blind to see that this is a conspiracy not only against Mr. Khan but against all Christians residing in Pakistan.
This is a shame to our country. Is this all whats left of Pakistan? A war between Christans and Muslims?
I think this is ridiculous! What is wrong with our Muslim brothers??? Holding a poor 84 year old man liable for doing something that was conspired against him. What possibly would he have gotten from burning the Holy Koran? What if our parents are held on remand for something they didnt commit. I strongly think that he should be set free as soon as possible and strong action should be taken against the driver.
