SAUDIS DISPLAY F-15S NEAR ISRAEL

Saudi Arabia, in a move meant to defy the United States, has displayed its F-15 fleet in an air force base near the Israeli border.

The Royal Saudi Air Force conducted an air show for Saudi King Abdullah that included the F-15S fighter-jet, the Hawk air trainer, Falcon 900C, and AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter. The demonstration on May 13 was the first in which the F-15s were displayed at Tabuk, about 120 kilometers from the Israeli border.

"You, the members of the armed forces along with the National Guard and security forces of the Interior Ministry, form a well-fortified shield for the kingdom after God Almighty," the king said.
