Two Palestinians killed, UN vehicle stolen

GAZA, March 22 (KUNA) -- Two Palestinians were killed in separate incidents while a United Nations (UN) vehicle was stolen in Gaza Strip, Palestinian security sources said on Thursday.

Palestinian police said they found Thursday morning 20-year-old Fareed Daghmash killed in central Gaza.

Daghmash's body had a wire wrapped around his neck and marks of a gun shot and beating, spokesman of the police said.

In another incident, Palestinian security and medical sources said Sameer Salah, 48, was killed Thursday morning in clashes that erupted between his family members and officers from the Interior Ministry in Al-Shujaeia district, southern Gaza.

Two of the ministry's vehicles were burned and tension prevailed in the district, they added.

In the meantime, a UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) vehicle, which was parked in Gaza, was stolen by unidentified people on Thursday.
