German Muslims plan umbrella organization

Muslims in Germany want to combine their various groups together to form a national umbrella organization. "We are determined to act as representatives of all Muslims in Germany", Bekir Alboga of the Turkish Muslim association 'Ditib' told the newspaper 'Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung'. Because Islam is less rigorously organized than Christian Churches, there is umbrella organization. According to Ditib, the Islamic Council, the Central Council of Muslims in Germany, and the Association of Islamic Cultural Centres are involved in the plans.
