DAR AL HARB - E.U. - SERBIA: ECHO'S OF THE 1930'S & THE SUDETENLAND DEAL

Olympian gods ploy to break up Serbia

In Greek mythology, twelve gods and goddesses ruled the universe from atop Greece’s Mount Olympus. All the Olympians were related to one another. The Romans adopted most of these Greek gods and goddesses, but with new names. The highest ranking and most powerful god was Zeus (Roman name: Jupiter), the ruler of Olympus, god of the sky. His temper affected the weather and he threw thunderbolts when he was unhappy. Poseidon (Roman name: Neptune) was god of the sea. He was the most powerful god except for his brother, Zeus and caused earthquakes when he was in a temper. Hera (Roman name: Juno) was goddess of marriage and the queen of Olympus.

The great imperial powers or superpowers have successfully assumed the roles of Zeus, Poseidon, others as well as their Roman equivalents. Sudetenland did not directly involve Yugoslavia but it empowered Hitler to invade other nations. Also its scenario exhibits similarities with the contemporary Kosovo independence quest.
