Austrian FM calls on int'l community to continue talks with Iran
Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik referred to the progress in North Korea talks and said that the international community should continue talks with Iran.
The statement issued by the Austrian Foreign Ministry quoting Plassnik, said that the information on the advancement of six-nation talks on North Korea's nuclear programs is promising for the entire region.
The statement added that North Korea will be called on to put into practice what it has said.
Plassnik noted that by making such a decision North Korea has seized the opportunity to end its isolation.
"The progress shows that direct talks based on political will is the best possible tools to reach agreement, even in the crises seeming to be quite tough," he added.
The Austrian minister underlined that therefore, the international community should not stop its efforts to seek a solution to hold talks on Iran's nuclear issue.
