Iran's Majlis Speaker: US, Israel wary of thought shaped in Islamic
US and Israel are both afraid of the improvement of political awareness of the young generation, said Iran's Majlis Speaker here on Thursday.
Speaking to a group of people in this northeastern city in South Khorassan Province, Gholamali Haddad Adel remarked that since Iran is the center of such awareness, they are pressurizing to do away with it.
He said that the imposed war, human rights support and Iran's nuclear case are all plots and pretexts for putting pressure on this focal point of political awareness.
He added that although experts have repeatedly visited Iranian nuclear facilities and have even installed cameras for permanent surveillance, no sign of any diversion in the country's related projects has been detected, and they still accuse Iran of wrongdoings, while Israel which has openly admitted to having nuclear arms is saved from any reproach.
In part of his speech, he said that there is no role for religion in western political and social life while Islam's Prophet (SAWA) was engaged in both political and religious affairs.
He added that the Islamic revolution is based on this school of thought and the late Imam Khomeini was in fact reviving this political notion in the society, inviting people to pure Islamic way of life and warning them of American version of Islam.
