Osama bin Laden's chief deputy, in a video released Monday, warned of disaster for the United States in Iraq.
Israel Army radio said Ayman al-Zawahiri mocked U.S. President George Bush and his plan to send more than 20,000 more U.S. troops to Iraq, The Jerusalem Post reported.

Al-Zawahiri referred to the 20,000 additional troops, CNN said, and asked, "Why not send 50,000 or 100,000?"
He also had a threat for U.S. soldiers -- "Aren't you aware that the dogs of Iraq are pining for your troops' dead bodies?"
