Islamic leaders seek to dominate the world

This is in response to the article "Mankind's Genius Can't Give Us Peace."

I believe the writer is entitled to what she believes. I would submit, however, that while there are great religions, and I respect them - "there is only one name by which mankind can be saved - Jesus; not Mohammed, Buddha or Allah."

The writer is naive to believe that "religion" will create a Utopia for mankind. I would submit that it is the vision of Islamic leaders to create Islamic states of all nations, where the state is ruled by the Koran; where there is no other religion, but Islam; where the "rule of law" is the Koran; where there is no democracy; and where there is no rule of law as we know it.

It's coming to America or is already here - "know what and who you believe before it's too late." As we see our culture and society crumbling about us, it will be easy for Islam to make great strides in America, and the America we know today and our forefathers knew we will hardly recognize.

Mankind's genius can't give us peace

On Dec. 31 at midnight, New Year's rolled in with a bang. Amazingly, with man's genius, we, the ordinary, plain, average Americans, were able to see on TV all the entertainment, excitements, and fireworks going on in London, China, plus other cities all over the world.

All of that was over and above also seeing Las Vegas, New Orleans, California, etc. coming through the New York CNN station.

Miraculous. What genius. Yet, with all of that genius, man cannot figure out how to make peace with each other. Man cannot figure out how to feed the millions of hungry (especially children) all over the world. With such genius as man has been given by God, you would think that man could figure out how to create heaven on earth.

Wars and fighting are usually claimed to be because of religious differences. How ridiculous.

Religion is what should bring man together. My understanding is that all religions teach us love, charity and goodness. Looking back, our present war, as I see it, is mostly between Muslims and Christians.

Why can't our human nature (knowledge) make us realize Muslims and Christians all have the same grandfather - Abraham? We are really one family with one God.

Wake up human beings. Mankind, filled with geniuses, should be able to solve a simple problem like just being kind to each other.

"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
