Muslims accept apology but don’t offer one of their own
Editor, the Tribune: I am writing in regard to the AP article that appeared in your paper on Oct. 15 and was titled "Muslim leaders accept Benedict XVI’s apology." I applaud the Muslim leaders’ act of good will in accepting the pontiff’s apology. King Abdullah II of Jordan has long been a beacon of enlightenment to the Muslim world.
However, I am struck by two elements of the story that were not addressed. First, how hard is it to accept an apology? The previous pope was shot by a Muslim and managed to forgive the man who had not offered a formal letter of apology.
Second, where are the apologies from the Muslim world for the things they did in response to Pope Benedict’s initial remarks? Specifically, threats on Pope Benedict’s life, the murder of a Catholic nun in Africa and the torching of churches.

It appears that the MSM's have done such an excellent job of reporting on the apology the Pontiff never rendered, the world & moslems themselves actually believe that he did render one...
The Pontiff was sorry about the reactions that islamofreaks had to his words...
