Bush greets Muslims on Ramadan
WASHINGTON: US President George W Bush has extended his Ramadan greetings to Muslims in the US and across the world, saying the holy month is the time to remember common values that bind people together.
"Ramadan is the holiest time of the Muslim year and an important holiday when Muslims take time for prayer, fasting, and personal sacrifice. Ramadan and the upcoming holiday seasons are a good time to remember the common values that bind us together," he said.
"Our society is enriched by our Muslim citizens whose commitment to faith reminds us of the gift of religious freedom in our country," Bush said in a statement. "Laura and I send our best wishes for a blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak" Bush said.
Our society President Bush is terrorized by moslems and islam...I don't see any enriching happening...
I don't share any "values" with a moslem, being an infidel and all I am on par with cattle and only worthy for the fires of hell according to their 'holy book', more like a war manual, the qur'an...
