President: Muslim women focal point of resistance against global arrogance
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that Muslim women inspired by the lofty spirit of Hazrat Zahra (AS), beloved daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), are the focal point of resistance against global arrogance.
Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with a group of elite women known for their merits in scientific, social, economic, political, cultural and art fields.
He also offered congratulation on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Fatemeh Zahra (SA).
The victory of resistance movement in Lebanon, Palestine as well as the struggles of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan are signs of the final triumph, adding that the world should believe that by relying on God Almighty and with leadership of Imam Mahdi (May God Hasten his Appearance), the oppressed people would triumph over global hegemony and infidelity.
To conquer peak of success, all should abide by the lofty goals and spirit of Hazrat Zahra (AS), he said.
Iranian women have taken a leading role in various scientific, cultural and social arenas, he underlined.
"We all should stand united in dealing with the global arrogance because final triumph based on justice will be materialized in the world very soon," he said.
A group of women from Lebanon, Bosnia, Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey were also present in the meeting.
